I purchased this lovely 6-cup rice cooker and really like it. It comes with a steaming tray, so you can cook veggies (or meat) at the same time.
As I’ve read and viewed online, I rinse my rice until the water is clear (unless it’s instant rice, which floats), and I unplug the machine when the button pops from cook to warm. I also give the rice a stir as soon as it’s done.
This rice cooker does great with instant brown rice, sushi rice, etc. You put in the rice, add water, and press the button to cook the rice! It turns to warm when the rice is done.
