This evening, I reminisced about when I was in Drumline and Marching Band during High School. My favorite song that we played was called Midnight in Tunisia. I remember playing the marimba for that song, as I was in the Pit that year.
Other years, I played the flute and bass drum – in a walking boot – I was a lifeguard and another lifeguard had pushed me off the lifeguard stand and I hit my food on the side of the pool. Ouch! I was so mad, I wouldn’t let anyone help me and I pulled myself out of the pool! Anyways, when marching with the bass drum, I waddled and swayed as I walked instead of marching! During the rest of the year, I played the oboe.
