I bought this chicken already marinated from my local grocery store. It was on sale for $1 a pound! I bought 4.5 pounds.
I sliced the chicken and put it in one layer on parchment paper (on a cookie sheet). When one layer was full, I placed more parchment paper on top for another layer. Then, I put the cookie sheet in the freezer.
When the chicken was frozen, I transferred everything to a freezer bag. Now, I can make fajitas, quesadillas, salads, and pizzas. That’s right, 4 types of meals, ready to go. By freezing the chicken slices individually, I can pull whatever amount I want from the freezer.
